Per la gioia di tutti i fan di Ubuntu (e delle sue derivate) sono state finalmente rilasciate le ISO di Ubuntu 15.04 nome in codice Vivid Vervet e delle sue derivate ufficiali.
Poche sono le novità di questo rilascio, le più importanti sono l’arrivo di systemd, Unity 7.3 e Compiz 0.9.12 per Ubuntu 15.04, KDE Applications 14.12 e Plasma 5 per Kubuntu 15.04. GNOME 3.14 per Ubuntu GNOME 15.04, MATE 1.8.2 per Ubuntu MATE 15.04 con in più il supporto nativo per MATE in Compiz grazie alle patch mainstream ed Xfce 4.12 per Xubuntu 15.04.
Come al solito troviamo i consueti aggiornamenti del Kernel (che si aggiorna al ramo 3.19.x) e dei principali programmi.
